Gingerbread House Contest The Foods & Nutrition classes are having a Gingerbread house contest in the library, please stop by this week to vote for your favorite.
Detention Room Students will now be able to serve detention after school next Monday and Tuesday from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the JHS Media Center.
MTSS Good Attendance Reward Day Attention JHS Good Attendance Reward Day Recipients; Tuesday December, 23rd is fast approaching! The upperclassmen reward day recipients will report to their Period 1 and or 2 class that morning prior to their selected destination (cookie baking, skating or movie) at the start of Period 3, and they will have open lunch from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Those upper classmen must return to their Period 5 class on time that afternoon. The underclassmen award day recipients will attend class as usual that morning and report to their selected destination (cookie baking, skating, or movie) at 12:30 PM. The afternoon activities will conclude at 2:30 PM, and those underclassmen are not required to report to their Period 7 that day. Freshmen are required to use district provided bussing transportation to Wilson Arena, but it is available to all students in need, so please check that box in the link that was sent to your K12 email on Wednesday if you are in need of transportation to and from Wilson Arena. Students will load buses at the front of the JHS Commons at the start of each session. We will take attendance at each destination, so please bring a school ID or drivers license with you. Cell phones are not permitted at any of the activities, but students may bring a camera to capture the memories if preferred. The arena manager will play music during the As noted in the initial invitation, the open skating session is free to participants, but students are responsible for paying the $5.00 fee for skate rentals if needed (supplies limited and very used). Although students may enjoy snacks and beverages off the ice, those items are not permitted on the ice.
Shuttle Bus Today - Morning Only The Arctic Shuttle will run this morning until noon. The last run will be for students leaving the CTC after period 4. Temperatures are expected to rise as the day goes on.
Key Club - Candy Cane Candy Grams Key Club will be selling Candy Cane Grams today during both lunches in the Jays Nest. This is the final day to purchase & support the Salvation Army. Candy grams will be delivered on Monday during period 2.
Junior Class Meeting The Juniors will meet in the JHS Theater for a class Meeting near the beginning of Period 3. Students will report to class first for attendance, and teachers will dismiss students after taking attendance. Junior JVCTC students may report straight to the theater.
