JVCTC Student of the Month Congratulations to Maddix Twamley on receiving Student of the Month honors for May at the Career and Tech Center. He demonstrates our Career and Ready Practice focus areas of timeliness and integrity well. JVCTC students, keep doing the right thing! We appreciate all the acts of kindness we are witnessing on a daily basis in and around our building and community. Thank you for a great year!
Chromebook Return Students are reminded that they must turn in their Chromebook and charger to the teacher of their last semester exam. No Chromebook or charger, no test. Replacement chargers are $25. Student may pay for lost chargers in the JHS office prior to their last exam. JPS tech will bill families for damages accordingly.
Keep Your CTC Driving Pass Reminder, the CTC driving pass that hangs inside your vehicle expires when you graduate. Returning students to JHS and the CTC, please keep your driving pass that you were issued. You will continue to use it throughout the remainder of your time in school and will not be issued a new one automatically in the fall. Any changes in driving status and/or parent permissions can be updated in the fall at the CTC office.
Graduation Practice Seniors are reminded that the mandatory graduation practice is at 11:30 AM at the Jamestown Civic Center next week Wednesday. A picnic will follow at the JHS Commons.
Key Club Key Club elections are now open. Ninth-eleventh grade Key Club members should go to Schoology and vote for 2026-2027 officers. The voting will close Tuesday, May 19th at midnight.
Senior Elementary School Walk Seniors are reminded that your elementary school walk through will be Wednesday, May 20th. Please remember to wear your cap and gown that day. St John's students will do this at 8:30 AM and public school students will complete their walk throughs at 8:45 AM. Please show up 5 minutes early so that you are able to assemble as a group.
Library Obligations Students: If you have library obligations, please come to the library and return your books and pay any fees you may have. You should have received an email in your K12 or myjps accounts. No tests until you are clear in the library. Any questions, please see Mrs. Burkle-- Thank you.
END OF YEAR TASKS! Before you leave school today and before finals start next week, take a moment to clean out your locker, remove any signs taped on the front and make sure your lock is in place. Students will be charged $5 for missing or broken locks. Seniors with paid parking: This is your reminder to turn in your parking pass to Kim at the attendance window! Lost passes will require $5 replacement fee.
